Pastured Barbezieux Chicken

We are proud to start offering pastured Barbezieux roasting chickens in 2021! This luxury breed was recently imported from France, where it is found in fine dining restaurants.

They are described as follows: “The skin, which is a beautiful golden color, takes on a light wheat scent, the meat is firm and flavorful, almost like venison”.

​

We try to raise our birds like they are in France - ample pasture and a grain-based diet.
