Farm Products
As part of our philosophy, we have a deep respect for nature’s ways, which is why all of our fruits, flowers and produce are farmed responsibly. We only sell whatever is in season, so you can be sure that anything you buy at Soggy Brook Farm is freshly picked. We also raise all of our birds with compassion and consideration to their needs, so you know that they are happy and healthy.
Pastured Poultry
We raise Barbezieux chickens and heritage turkeys on pasture as intended. This large, ancient breed is known in France as a luxury roasting bird and it's easy to understand why. They are characterized by their golden skin that has an aroma that is reminiscent of wheat and a rich, almost gamey flavor.

In addition we offer surplus roosters from our egg-layer group upon request.
Chicks and Poults
In spring for as long as we feel like hatching we offer chickens and poults for sale!

Our turkeys are all heritage - no broad breasted birds here! They are all healthy and known for their long lives and excellent personalities. Hens have a good maternal instinct and the toms are protective, yet kind. While they don't get as bulky as your grocery store turkey, they make excellent roasting birds for Thanksgiving.

Hatching eggs are sometimes available as well.
Pastured Eggs
We offer a rainbow of pastured eggs from various heritage breeds of chicken. Our blue eggs come from the Crested Cream Legbar, our dark brown from Black Copper Marans, standard brown from Buff Orpington, white/cream from Barbezieux, and green from olive eggers. New colors will be added in the future! Our hens enjoy sunny days in the grass with ample room to bask, flap, and hunt for bugs.

We also offer turkey and Dutch bantam eggs upon request.
Heirloom Fruits, Vegetables, and Herbs
We're also proud to offer seasonal heirloom fruits, vegetables, and herbs at our roadside stand. We grow tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, eggplant, strawberries, figs, apples, and blueberries as well as many, many more. Please check with us for availability!
Vegetable Plants
Every spring we offer potted vegetable plants from our greenhouse for your home garden!

We offer a unique assortment of rare and popular heirlooms. Some are available every year, like Cherokee Purple and German Johnson tomatoes.
​
We also import vegetable seeds from Croatia, including the Šuškara pepper. This white pepper is excellent for stuffing!
Chicken and Turkey Saddles
If your rooster or tom is a little clumsy (okay, maybe the toms are the clumsy ones and the rooster are a bit obnoxious) your hens may appreciate a saddle! These protect their backs from feather pulling and injuries from the boys' claws or spurs. Our saddles are hand-made right here on the farm!
